The Ford Territory is a new addition to the Ford brand’s lineup in the Philippines. Latest release, the 5-seater model was officially launched to fill the gap between the Ford EcoSport and Ford releases.

Overview

There are two variants carried by the Ford Territory, including Trend and Titanium Plus. Both of these variants are powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine. However, for the new crossover, only the Titanium Plus variant is present in the Philippines.

Exterior

The Territory’s exterior is completely different from other Ford SUV models, but the Territory has a unique design that makes it stand out from the rest of the Blue Oval SUV lineup. The shape of the front bumper is slightly longer making it look manly and muscular.

The front grille has a glossy black trapezoidal shape flanked by slim LED headlights, fog lamps and LED daytime running lights. The rear LED light also has a sleek and sophisticated shape, as well as connected with the chrome bar.

Ford Territory measures 4580 mm in length, 1936 mm in width, and 1674 mm in height. It has 180 mm ground clearance and 2716 mm wheel base.

This Ford is available in 6 colour, such Diffused Silver, Crystal White Pearl, Panther Black, Moonstone Blue, Star White and Ruby Red.

Interior

The Ford Territory interior has the greatness of a neat, clean, and smooth cabin layout. The cabin uses three types of materials, including plastic, leather and wood trim. Most of the cabin is clad in dark colors and a touch of wood accents to give it a matte look.

The car seat is made of leather which has features Adjustable Seats, Foldable Rear Seat, Rear Seat Headrest, and Height Adjustable Driver Seat.

Unlike previous models which had a 7 seater Ford Territory interior in the 2006 Territory series. The latest released Ford Territory seating capacity is a 5 seater SUV. Even so, this SUV can still be used to be with the family.

Territory’s engine uses 1.5L Gasoline Engine, 4 Cylinder 16 Valve and 1490 cc engine offers 141 hp of maximum power and 225 Nm of maximum torque.

The fuel is gasoline and has a fuel tank capacity of 52 L.
